DISCUSSES MATTER RELATING TO PROMPT REDRESSAL OF PUBLIC COMPLAINTS.

Islamabad : 14 October 2026 – The Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman), Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch called on the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Khan here today and exchanged views with him on matter relating to the performance of Wafaqi Mohtasib Institution, specifically its role and functions with regard to redressal of public complaints relating to maladministration in the country.

            The Wafaqi Mohtasib apprised the AJ&K President of the various initiatives taken by the Institution to ensure timely relief to the public in cases involving maladministration of the public sector entities, terming it as his top most priority. He said that the physical outreach of the Institution has expanded considerably following opening of new Regional Offices in various cities particularly the remote and far off districts. He expressed the resolve that it will continue to serve the general public with the same devotion and dedication in the days ahead.

            The AJ&K President commended the outstanding performance of the Wafaqi Mohtasib Institution, saying that it is rendering very useful service to the people. They also exchanged shields and mementos towards the conclusion of the meeting.
