Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Khan – PAS is Federal Secretary to the Government of Pakistan. He has done his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from NED University – Karachi. Prior to his posting in Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman)’s Secretariat as Secretary, he was Secretary M/o Kashmir Affairs & GB. He joined Civil Services Academy in November, 1989 as an Officer of Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS).

He has rich experience of working at Federal, Provincial Governments and Corporate Sector. He has served against various fields and Secretariat assignments in Punjab, Sindh, KPK and GB.

Prior to Promotion to BS-21, he remained posted in Sindh Government as Special Secretary Finance Department; Secretary Coal and Energy Development Department; Secretary Special Initiative P & D Department. He remained Commissioner Karachi 2016-2018; Executive Director, (U.S-10) National Insurance Company Karachi; Director Export Promotion Bureau Karachi (M/O Commerce); Director Immigration & Passport Karachi (M/O Interior); Additional Secretary (Regulation) (SGA&C); Commissioner SESSI, Karachi.

Under the Government of Punjab, he worked as Director (RDA) Rawalpindi; ADC (G) / DC Sialkot; ADC (Literacy Movement) Toba Tek Singh; Assistant Commissioner Lahore and Gojra. He also worked as SO (Procurement & Transport) Punjab Department SGA&I; Administrator MC Muree.

Under KPK Government he worked as Deputy Commissioner Bannu. He remained Deputy Commissioner Northern Areas Gilgit during 2002-2003.
